Portrait sessions with John are fun, relaxed and very informal affairs resulting in a very personalised style of portrait that you will hang on your wall and cherish forever.

There are 3 types of portrait session John offers, his “Signature Portrait” range, an “Environmental” outdor style shoot or “A Day in the Life…..” photo session.

Signature Portrait – simple timeless portraits to hang on your wall and cherish forever. This style of portraits is photographed mainly in black & white against dark background capturing the individuality and personality of the person being photographed. Close-up shots are mainly taken using natural available light from a nearby window, emphasising on facial expression and bright eyes. The majority of these type of portraits are shot in the familiar surroundings of clients homes as both parents and children are a lot more relaxed in their own natural environment.

Environmental Portrait – ideal for individual, small or family group portraits. The majority of these portraits are taken on location, in the park, on the beach, a nearby woods or lakeside setting, exploring the countryside or even hanging around at home or playing in the garden. Johns’ favourite location is a woodland setting where the surroundings make for beautiful natural portraits and provide countless opportunities for a great series of shots. Environmental portrait sessions can last up to half a day on location just shooting beautiful pictures. All images are shot in colour but images can be individually converted into stylish b&w prints.

A Day in the Life….. - an exclusive lifestyle album shoot where a storybook through photography is written on a day in the life of you or your child. A brand new concept for portrait photography where there are no limits resulting in a beautiful coffee table style photo book which is unique to you. John will spend the whole day together with you taking 1000’s of pictures in style that best suits and reflects the way you and your family are at this time in your lives. Whether its a fashion style shoot for a daughter who’s a wanabe model, a set of images for you to remember a special time in your or your child’s life such as a 16th, 18th or 21st birthday or just to remember a special time in your lives. This is an absolutely beautiful new concept for families and children incorporating stunning digital photo book albums. This shoot can be done both at home and on location and can also encompass a mixture of Johns Signature and Environmental portraits.

Prices

Prices include John's time, skill and knowledge during your shoot, time spent in post production editing and individually styling your images. Proof photographs can either be uploaded online into your own personal password protected gallery or can be supplied as low resolution jpegs on CD ROM where you can decide on your favourites before being framed or reproduced in you own unique stylish photo book album.
